Minutes of 5/28/2009 – Shelby County Amateur Radio Club
A regular meeting of the SCARC was called to order at 7:00 PM by Vice President Jim McLester W4YXU who requested that the attendees introduce themselves. One visitor was present - Sean Paul, WN4BAN.
Topics and subjects of future programs were given by the Vice President.
Treasurer Jack Evans, KC4PZA reported the following:
Savings account $3,572.83
Checking account $175.05
Repeater Fund $1,383.35
Two bills were approved for payment:
· ARRL materials for distribution at Cityfest
· Headphones for use with club receivers.
Members were reminded of Alabaster Cityfest on June 6 and Alabama QSO party June 6 and 7.
A program was given by Jim McLester showing location and details of the Club repeater. Questions and answers followed.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:05 PM.
