The regular meeting of the Shelby County Amateur Radio Club was called to order by Vice President Jim McLester, W4YXU and members welcomed.
Officers reports followed.
Treasurer Jack Evans, KC4PZA reported as follows:
Savings account $2,330.89
Checking account $75.80
Special account $1,237.58
No outstanding bills.
Secretary Mike Thomason, K4FQF reported 2 e mail communications from persons inquiring of testing information. replies made with copies sent to Joe Ford, K4NVJ, VE Testing Chairman
Tom Appleby, W4TCA , MEC ,asked that members bring all IS completion certificates to the February 26 meeting in order for ID cards and photos be made. Tom also reported that he and Patty King, KJ4FTZ, Red Cross Liaison had met with Red Cross personnel to discuss placement of radio equipment at the Valleydale Red Cross office.
Ron Andrews KCOI asked that members publicize upcoming Technician License Classes with times and dates to be set at a later date.
Jack Evans, KC4PZA gave a program on ARRL net messaging and proper traffic handling. A question and answer period followed.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM
