The regular meeting of SCARC was held at the Shelby County EMA building in Columbiana. Roll call of members was by name and call sign.
There were 22 members present.
President Bill Davidson, KW4J called for reports by Officers and Committee Chairmen and items of unfinished business.
The OMIK Convention will be held on July 20-21 and SCARC members will attend and/or assist as needed.
Refurbishment of the Shelby County EMA BBQ shed is continuing and a work day will be announced for completion of this project.
Marcus Thomas KF4YHP, Field Day Chairman outlined plans for the upcoming event. Duties of Station Managers, antenna installation and food preparation were discussed. President Davidson stated that operating details will be the decision of the Field Day Chairman.
Members enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs and soft drinks prior to the meeting.
